Powerhouse Pinball Club

What is The Powerhouse?

The Powerhouse is a 30,000 square foot Romanesque style flat-roofed building with a square smokestack that originally housed the National Electric Tramway and Light Company. It was restored in 2020 by LeFevere and Company. The current tenants are Metropol Industries, Ecologyst, Hyde Design and Vancouver Island Arcade Amusements.

When does the Powerhouse Pinball Club hold drop-in sessions?

Drop-in sessions are Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm - 8pm.

Why is the Powerhouse Pinball Club members-only?

The Powerhouse is zoned M3- Heavy Industrial. This type of zoning does not allow for public assembly, but does allow for the operation of private clubs.

How do I become a member?

In order to become a member, you have to ask. And pay $10 per year.

Are the games on free play?

Yes, the games at the Powerhouse Pinball Club drop-in sessions are all on free play.

What does it cost for drop-in?

The drop-in rate is $20 per person. You can pay the drop-in fee and stay the whole day!

How many members does the club have?

The Powerhouse Pinball Club has over 700 members.

Is there an age minimum?

Yes. You must be at least six months old to join the Powerhouse Pinball Club.

Will you be adding and/or changing pinball games?

Yes, we are always working on our collection so we will be adding and changing titles from time to time.

What amenities does the Powerhouse have?

The Powerhouse is equipped with 2 washrooms. We offer non-alcoholic beverages for sale.

Is there parking?

The Powerhouse is on a dead end of Store Street with some free parking 2 hour parking directly across the street and in the surrounding area.

Can I bring my dog?

While we are sure that your dog is very well behaved, it has been our experience that not all of our members feel comfortable around your furry friend. Service animals only please.

Can I bring food?

We ask that you not bring food with you to the club.

Is the Powerhouse available for private rentals?

Yes! We can handle private and corporate events. The room is available on select evenings. It can be booked online here.

How do I join the pinball league?
